Change; the other white meat

How does the quote go? The only thing constant is change? Truer words were never spoken. It has been quite a year. There have been lots of changes. So, out with the old, in with the new, as the trees are bare so I begin again stripped clean to the core. This is a new year, a fresh start.
clean. new. renew. refresh.

My new motto this year is about focus. I chose to be present and live in the NOW. Run when you must, Rest when you can, Stop and LISTEN, Absorb what is useful; Think all the time, Live in the now.

Quotes on focus:

"When you focus on being a blessing, God makes sure that you are always blessed in abundance". -Joel Osteen.

"The sun's rays do not burn until brought to a focus". -Alexander Bell

No matter what the circumstances; I am responsible for my work, my happiness, my decisions and my life. I must live in the now and stay focused on each moment as it comes. I have done all I can to prepare, set goals, set up auto bill pay, gotten a good night’s sleep, saved, now it is time to live and focus on the task at hand. Knowing that god will provide in the future because I have prepared and am focused on being a blessing to all I meet. Wow lofty goals. Yes. I am doing it. I am living it.
As Yoda says "there is no 'try' there is only doing".

If I have a loss of focus I will remember this;

"You affect your subconscious mind by verbal repetition". - W. Clement Stone.

"Failure is not the falling down, but the staying down" -Mary Pickford

"If our thoughts and hopes are elsewhere, it is impossible for us to set our faces steadily toward the work required of us." -Anonymous
"Not a shred of evidence exists in favor of the idea that life is serious". - Brendan Gill

I am cheerful and lighthearted and go forth with a smile and a happy countenance. To a new day, Cheers! :D

Stay on track and Git er dun'

Recipe for focus- Go left and right; repeat rapidly at your local arc park.
Have fun: Nothing nicer than a beautiful gun dog, a sweet shotgun and one fine fall day.
